Garland was born in Amarillo, Texas, but was
raised in Wichita Falls, Texas. He attended Texas Tech University.
Garland has spent over 30 years creating art based on his observations
of Mother Nature's native wildlife, insects, pets and livestock. He is
best known for and always returns to the human figure as his personal
touchstone. Recognized locally and nationally, Garland has been
commissioned to do numerous art pieces memorials and commercial
expositions. Garland resides in Lubbock. |
